Lalanka × Hamamni1888: The Meeting of Healing and Solidarity
Inspired by nature's healing power, Lalanka, a Turkish company, has joined forces with Hamamni1888, a social enterprise that produces handmade soaps in Zanzibar. Through this collaboration, Lalanka will offer 10,000 soaps for sale in Türkiye, with all proceeds going to the production of another 10,000 soaps for women in Zanzibar.
The soaps produced will be distributed free of charge to families and young girls, and will also be supported with hygiene education workshops. This project is more than just soap production; it's a story of solidarity that empowers women, reintegrates them into society, and connects two countries through kindness.
Each Lalanka × Hamamni1888 soap is a symbol of naturalness, labor and sharing.

TUI Care × Collection Sawa: Hands That Keep Culture Alive
In the heart of Zanzibar, young women and men are reviving some of the island's oldest crafts: wood carving, ceramic shaping, fabric dyeing. The Heritage Hands programme, run in partnership with the TUI Care Foundation and the Assalam Community Foundation, is turning tradition into a livelihood.
To date, 33 young people have received training in Ngoma, Storytelling, Kofia, Ceramics, Ecoprinting, and Woodcarving. Their crafts now carry the spirit of Zanzibar in hotels, markets, and festivals. Mobile workshops, reaching over 14,000 students, keep culture alive through learning and production.
